ZappHobbyPrivacy Policy
What we collect
- Account: your name, email and sign-in details.
- Your collection and business: items, photos, prices, locations you give them, contacts you add, sales, expenses, listings, posts, files and recordings.
- Usage: which tools you use and how much (to run allowances and billing), app version, device type and error reports you send.
- Payments: handled by Apple, Google or Stripe — we see what you bought and its status, never your full card number.
- Connected accounts: when you connect eBay, YouTube, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok or a payout account, we keep the access those services give us to do what you ask.
- Push notifications: a device token, if you allow notifications.
How we use it
To run the tools you turn on: scanning and grading your photos with AI, pricing from market data, editing your videos, publishing what you approve, sending listings, keeping your books, sending notifications you allowed, and supporting you. We use AI models from our providers (such as Anthropic and Amazon Web Services) to process your requests; they do not use your content to train their models under our agreements.
What we never do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- ZappHobby staff can’t open your collection from our admin tools; account-level information (plan, usage) is visible to authorized staff for support and billing.
- We don’t send marketing email unless you said yes, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
Sharing
Only with service providers that run ZappHobby for us (hosting, AI processing, email, payments), with services you connect and tell us to send things to, when the law requires, or if the business is transferred (you’d be told). Your public shop, posts you publish and listings are public by design.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your data while your account is open. Raw studio recordings are cleared after 30 days; edits you keep stay in your Library. Delete your account and we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (like payment records). How to delete your account.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on AWS. Staff access uses separate logins with two-step codes and is logged.
Your choices
See, export or delete your data, turn off notifications, disconnect services or stop marketing email anytime. California and other residents may have additional rights; ask us and we’ll honor them.
Children
ZappHobby isn’t for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
